Grandma Eloise Carter’s battles are both natural and spiritual as she attempts to redirect her granddaughter Angela’s steps back from the crumbling edge of a past beyond her control. It seems that Angela is already lost in life’s journey as she struggles to see a bright future through the fog of her chaotic past. Yet, Grandma is determined to reach her through preaching and teaching as she declares ‘It doesn’t matter how you start, it matters how you finish.’ Stephanie, Angela’s best friend is determined to under mind Grandma’s belief in a Faith Forward Future, when in actuality she believes we will ultimately end up the way we historically began. In the end, Angela finds THE WAY and is introduced to the God of the journey.
